rotors.. cobra or 6th gen>?

i tried searching to see if someone was still selling cobra rotors on this forum... im am currently running the 300zx bbk with the cobra rotors im wondering can i just get the 6th gen rotors when its time to replace the ones i have now...
or if i buy cobra rotors do i need to get anything done to them to make em fit..

heres a link i bought mines a while back when i had my 4th gen and he also redrills them for you to maxima spec for only 10 bucks extra :

no because the cobra rotors are 13 inch and the maxima 6th gen are 12.6 inch

Not exactly. If this was the case, they would technically still work, but you will just have some pad overhang.

The real reason they wont work with the brackets designed for cobra rotors is because the offset is different between the two. The back of the maxima rotor will touch the caliper when bolted down. The car literally wont move. Ask me how I know... lol.

I have been trying to get a response from racetechperformance and not even the customer service knows about the cobra rotor and having them done to maxima spec. They keep telling me they only sell the brembo ones for the max but no cobra... so I also tried to hit up Jason(Automax_95) through his e-mail and still no response.

im wondering if i would be able to take my rotors to a shop and get them redrilled to maxima spec.. but i dont know wat kinda shop;...lol

I may be missing something. Do you have Jeffs hub rings with you kit? The Cobra rotors are just 1998 Mustang Cobra rotors.

naw i dont have the ring.. it fits on just fine... i thought i need to bore the hubb part out... so its the stud part i need to bore get bored out to macima spec?
