Why is it that a lot of maximas I see including mines, the back sits lower than the front? Is this a sign of the rear shocks going bad? I don't understand.

It's the cut of the fenders. The rear wheel openings are designed lower than the front.

the front wheel well is in line with the door handles while the rear is clearly lower.

All FWD vehicles have larger fender wells. So you can turn over bumps without rubbing.

Thanks for the input guys. Mines just don't look too normal. Maybe the front of mines went up a bit? I will take a picture when I get off work to show everyone if this is normal.

how do you nullify this though my subs in the trunk has my rear sitting so low. My Acura TL didn't have this problem. Bigger rims? Stiffer suspension?

The easiest solution is to throw mild lowering springs on the front only, like the H&Rs. You will need to buy a full set for H&R and the other companies don't sell just the fronts.
