Radiator Fan Blade Broke Off

I was replacing my radiator tonight and had a brief mental lapse and wound up knocking the fan blade off the motor of my passenger side fan and am wondering if there's a cheap way to reattach it without having to replace the whole fan, which works just fine.

See the pic linked below. You can see the center where there's usually a round metal piece with teeth attached to the fan blade. That metal piece is still on the end of the motor, so the plastic somehow broke.

Any ideas how to re-attach the blade? I've done some searching but haven't found anything similar.

wow that officially is the worst thing ever! I don't think you can safely reattatch it. The fans are running at a pretty high speed and glue definately wont cut it. I'd go ahead and get some new performance ones.

I decided to just attach the metal piece the center using some epoxy I had in the garage. It's not heavy duty stuff, so I'm not sure if it will work or for how long. I set it last night and drove 20 miles into work this morning without an issue. If it detaches, I may try to some more heavy duty epoxy that takes longer to set and see if that works. But a good chance i'll just have to replace that fan.

A better chance it completely annihilates and epoxy wont be the best next fix.

Spend the $45 and get new fans. The cheap ones are here
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-10-...Q5fAccessories

And Ebay sells the OEM style ones for $94

I have an extra used fan blade in good condition that I can give you for free. Just pay for the shipping. PM me for details.
