you already blew it...OH WAIT!?!? YOU GOT YOUR CAR BACK?

on some real ish...i really think its not dependant on the axles...at the end of the day..i have DSS axles on both sides, and i still have a vibration after raising it up...if your car is vibrating when accelerating, i think its due to engine flex...stiffen it up (new mounts/tq link)

I have ES bushing motor mounts. dont have those tq links though. doesnt that go somewhere on the top? i think its just front wheel drive failure when riding slammed. im just gonna ride at the height of progress springs like i had before and slam it for occasions

thats where its gonna begin. get ready to order one now I ordered one off ebay just now. i'll have 2 so when one goes out, i'll have another. the one i have on now has a warranty and can be rebuild local. the one i just ordered has warranty so when it goes bad, i'll send it back and so forth. but like i said im not going to ride slammed unless its important car will be good after that!

I'm pretty slammed and the OEM axles went in my car back in October, the vibration felt like the car was going to fall apart at all speeds. Went to Nissan and they wanted $700 PER axle. Said no way and they put in some cardone axles. Picked up the car, still got a slight pulsing while accelerating. The checked and within 40 miles, the new axle was leaking already and they swapped it.

To this day, it still vibrates. They tried to say "Well, raise your car before we look at it again" and I told them no way because they saw how low the car was and still said they would work on it and warranty it for 12 months/12,000 miles. Since October, I put 10,000 miles on so I need to get this back there soon. Talked to the service manager today and he said to bring it in and they would take care of it, loaner car and all.

I'm hoping they can order different axles or something. If not, I am going to put my 18" summer wheels back on and see if that slight difference will keep it from vibrating (never had an issue with being slammed til I put my stock rims back on in October)

Anyway, I know what you guys are going through and it's annoying. I like being low, but it's getting annoying dealing with axle issues.

i SWORE taht when i was on my 19s, i didnt have a vibration, so it must be true! because i got vibrations when i went back to my stock wheels as well...and right now...i have a slight vibration, nothing like i use to, but right now i get random shakes that feel like the car is going to fall apart, at cruising speeds, not accelerating, so its aggravating man...i dont know. i'm going to take it by my mechanic today and see what he says. other than that...i'm working on getting my G35 wheels together so i can throw them on, and see what happens

Well, think about it, with a 19in rim vs a 17in rim the bigger the rim the less of an angle the axles are on. That's probably why you didn't get a vibration on the 19s.

As much as I dislike large rims for various reasons (more expensive tires, heavier etc) I was thinking about doing some 19s so that I can ride low without the axle issues.

I've had no problems with Napa axles. They are all reman'd and balance out perfectly. Just replaced both sides a couple weeks back and I can say they are freshened nicely by the reman'ers. Would never online order axles again! These axles are truly a 'hit or miss' type of part, so make sure you deal locally!

Stay FAR from 'A-1 Cardone,' I had the vibration and it was severe.

I'll post up a pic later, but I'm irritated. Had the DSS axle from FCP installed and drove home with a vibration. It actually feels worse than the last yard OEM axle I had. More than 40% acceleration gives me a nice shuddering vibration. Contacting FCP in the morning.

Update on the Master Pro axle...

No issues at all and I wrap out gears several times per day. You would never know it was replaced.

Sorry you guys are still having the issues you are having. I'm on Maxspeeds with GR2's and the passenger side vibration/shake went away completely once i installed the axle. Maybe it's just a combination of things.

1. How the axle was balanced
2. How low your ride is
3. Other suspension parts being worn

The reasons could be unlimited to why some have vibrations and others don't.

Hope you guys figure it out. Good luck...
