Car shuddering: What to do?

2002 maxima with 120k miles.

Took my car in about a month ago to get the alternator replaced and new AC belts. Couple of days later i start feeling a slight shudder when the AC is on. Took the car back to the mechanic and they told me the coils are probably bad. Took it to another Mech and they weren't sure why its shuddering but if it was coils my idle would be all over the place. They loosened the ac belt slightly thinking that might be too much tension on the belt. Shuddering stopped for a couple of days and then it came right back.

There is no loss of power to the car and it only happens when I'm stopped at the light with the Air on. The Idle is steady and there is nothing noticable except for this slight shuddering. Its a wierd shudder too because its not steady.

for example: I'm stopped at a light, everything is fine, then all of a sudden I would feel three slight shudder as if there is a misfire and then back to being calm, three shudders, calm, 4 shudders, calm, etc. It is not throwing any codes.

This only happens when the car is in Drive.

So far, i've put it off since it wasn't giving my car any troubles other than the shudder and doesn't seem to be getting any worse. However I do want to rectify it and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this.

I know that I had loose and old radiator and AC fans, caused my car to shake when then air was on...possibility..? or maybe motor mounts..? all guessing aside, have you taken it to an actual nissan dealer for a diagnosis?

oh and ps. when my coils went bad, my idle wasnt affected but there was a definite loss of power. and if one of those mechanics said that your coils are probably bad when there is no code, IDK how seriously I'd take his word
