Raxles does not offer passenger side axle for my car???
So what am I to do? I don't want to buy a reman every 6 months (probably even sooner with my driving style) and I can't afford $500 from the dealer. Maybe my best option is to go to the salvage yard but then how do I know if the axle I get is oem or if it's a cheap reman?

By new from a place like NAPA or Federated, etc. The ones I purchased are much beefier (right and left) compared to the oem ones and they are not raxles. Price was not bad at all either. These are NEW and warrantied NOT Reman'd.

Funny _ i almost posted the same question today, after reading a post about replacing axles.
You just confirmed what I thought about Raxles still not having the pass. side for a 5.5.
I agree about one of the resellers: almost ALL of them offer LIFETIME warranties on everything they sell....well, ALMost everything.

Not sure if this helps, but here are the part #'s I bought
GSP # NCV3585 (L)
GSP # NCV3586 (R)
The axles themselves were almost twice as thick as the OEM ones I pulled out and the joints seemed much beefier as well.

Nismo: what led you to replace your axles?? How did you KNOW they were bad?
I hit a huge pothole a few years back when I was still lowered that blew-out my Fr. Pass. Wheel Bearing + Hub, and I've suspected my axle to be slightly bent ever since (slight vibration over 60+mph).
I'm contemplating replacing the LCA's soon (as a suspect of said vibration) and wondering maybe if it's the AXLE I should be concerned about rather than the LCA?!?!
Just looking for YOUR experience.
Sorry to postwhore Rosader!!
thks.

Easy to replace whole axle then it is to repair half-shafts and/or CV boots.

Have you or anyone on here personally use these axles on a 6spd? Everytime I get axles from these auto parts stores they say they are for 6spd but when I bring it home and compare it to mine the passanger side is always the smaller automatic axle and not the 6spd one. Can anyone confirm these are correct for 6spds?
Where did you find these for sale? I thought it was NAPA, but they only have Cardone axles listed.

OK so I'm replacing my timing chains, tensioners, guides, water pump, an intake cam + sprocket (that I damaged while I was in there) also replacing alternator, belts, and installing intake spacers... so it's been sitting in my shop for over a month as I only have 1-2 hours a day 2-3 days a week available to work on it but I'm making progress. The engine is pulled and everything is pulled apart to where i can start replacing parts. I have all Saturday to work on it so I figure I can get it all put back together and running by Sunday but the last thing I need is a passenger side axle. If I order the GSP from Advanced I won't get it til next week. Does anyone know any part #'s from Autozone, Oreily, Napa etc for a passenger side axle for 6mt that you know without a doubt fits? I want to get something local so I can get it installed Saturday
