alright.

Cattmans were installed last week. Drove around with the cel not popping until three days later. have the o2 sim on order just waiting on delivery. Have a code reader (basic one) so its been popping a 1174 code//?//(I Believe will correct it when it goes again. (Checkin the reader all codes are header related **Pending shows catalyst, o2 related codes, and it did show a code for lean condition once and misfire, so ive been babying it). Plugs are brand new ngk plats that i put in when i did the ssim. car has 86k now.

Now possibly completely unrelated, it just so happened after i got the headers installed and a line flush at a local shop. Line flush was about three and a half weeks ago, but i was on vacation for 10 days so it sat during that time.

Yesterday we pull into auto zone, no issues. i attempt to put the car in reverse, it wont move. Fluid is BRAND new as in two weeks brand new. Dead on where its supposed to be as for the fill line. We push the car back and all forward gears are working. It appears that its in limp mode as it wouldnt go over 2500 rpm.
We go to limp it home, make it to the corner and it gives a a thunk. and all forward gears are a go. the car fully revs and goes through all changes perfectly fine. we get to the house. reverse is fine, drive gears are fine. No issues.
Ive been looking at the trans go kit, but i havent seen anyone with this issue. I dont have an issue with any gears and this is the FIRST time ive had this problem or Any trans related issu since having the car (Almost 3 years)

I've been having the same problems with my transmission as well. If my driving gets agressive, the transmission seems to stay in 3rd gear, and I have no reverse, but if you punch it, it will suddenly pop down the 1st and life is normal again. My fluid was looking pretty dark when this first started happening. I've since done a flush (which can be pretty dangerous on it's own), but still have the issue. I can occasionally get a good slip on a 1st to 2nd shift when punching it. I have the typical 2nd to 3rd flare.

But thats just it for it to show up like that...I have no issues at all. car is freaking spoiled more than my kids lol (sadly), but it doesnt talk back so ehhhh, but yeah.
It shifts through all gears fine. so the fix for you is punching it? does it make a thunk or lowd noise when you do this? It almost feels like the line was blocked and whatecer it is blew through, but if thats the case i dont want whatever it is floating in my tranny
Do you thiink the transgo would help with your issues?

again i say. as stated mine ist really the same issue thats highlighted in the transgo setup...guess ill buy the hd kit and try it ou this week. hopefully that will correct it.

Could be the line flush broke something loose and whatever it was temporarily clogged a passage in the valve body.
