Cali vs Fed Spec emissions: How do you tell?

The original thread saved in the FAQS is gone. What research I pulled up didn't seem to be viable.

So what are the easiest ways to tell? I'm not that mechanically inclined so pointing out certain parts are still tough for me.

Answers I've found are:

Check under the hood for emissions sticker - don't have one
Single sensor past the cat - don't know where to look
4 connections in a row from Engine to Radiator = Cali Spec. - not sure what this would look like.

I would appreciate any help. Need to let Cattman know which I have before production on exhaust.

Thanks

They are (almost) all are Cali spec. If you are in Mass, then 100% it is Cali spec.

I realized you did... I also noticed that, even though you founded it through google, it actually links back to the one I posted on my photobucket account. (if you right-click on the image and check the properties you'll see the actual address (URL) for it).
So, what do you have, Fed or Cali spec?
Also, you might want to download a copy of the FSM; it comes very handy.

yea, I stated where I found it because I was unsure to where it originally came from. This picture is handy to have on this subject.

Cali spec it is. Now its time to read up on the differences.

Good point on getting the manual. I never had it with the vehicle and never remeber to get one.

TIME TO RESAVE THREAD FOR FAQS?

The file named fwd.pdf is the index file for the rest.
