You need to be more specific. What year size and style infiniti wheel? What size tires? Any suspension mods?

There's something about oem wheels that gives me all sorts of boners. I love oem wheels as much as I hate body kits.

I think I once saw something about rims fitting the 5.5s? Would those g35 coupes work with the 5.5? what are the tire sizes?

Unless you're slammed beyond recognition. I'm on Progress with 10mm spacers in the rear and get a slight rub on one side when hitting large bumps with 45#'s of dog food in the trunk.

Yeah, it doesn't work. Have you had success? It's just the geometry of it being lowered.

I've read countless threads, but it always goes back to that one side.

At this point, I'm jut going to modify that fender on that side.

Lateral beam tends to slide to one side when being lowered the tdmi adjustable TQ link fixes that because I had the same issue with my 19" Rays and when I put it on it was gone no more rubbing after a while I did change the tires of course

Yup, we all know that.

But did the TDMI actually fix it or was it the change of tires?

you can fix that without buying anything also, and its a pretty simple task

sounds like NMEX's issue has to do with how the beam slides when hitting a bump. He would have to off center it so that when he hits a bump it slides to the center. That, or roll the fenders and trim that flange that hangs out in the fender well that loves to scrape tires

I decided to roll the fenders, or modify them to whatever works. Whenever time permits. It only rubs with a passenger or cargo, and obviously with both.

But, even when sitting in the garage, you can see one side sitting out a bit further than the other side. Maybe I can get funky and use a 5mm on one side and 10mm on the other.

yes I did this difference on the rear it looks and works fine.

5mm one side, 20mm other

235/45/18 18x7.5 3mm

and I am sure you know this but making sure, did you grind your tabs at the quarter where it meets the bumper? This helped my "one sided" rubbing before anything else did.

Thats after centering the beam? I was on progress springs and got the beam nicely centered
