possible to un-smoke my head lights?

so i bought a can of smoke spray to tint my headlights but i do not like how it looks now.
would there be a way to get this paint stuff back off the headlights and restore them so they look just how the did before (or better) ?

i seriously regret doing this to them dammit

smoking them involves a opaque paint...
try some acetone...and then follow a diy on restoring headlights.
nothing some gradual wet sanding*500-2500 grit cant fix
post some pics in the mean time

try wet sanding with 1000 grit then possibly 2000 grit and finish it off with plastic polish.

Lmao. that's a whole other story bro lol I can't get into that story cos I had some really sick black n chrome rims 18" that I took off for the winter and my damn uncle sold them because they were taking up to much space at my house. I really hate the dude for that one! but no worries I have some tricks up my sleeve.

Ah thanks for the kind words bro
and all that's for the kind words, I guess I'll keep it like that for now then. My boy is trying to smmoke his 08 passat headlights and I almost talked him out of it cos I didn't know. But I mean I kinda do like them and if u guys think it looks right, and my boy thinks it looks good enough to want to try it on his ride, than it's all cool.

next chapter coil over drop, rims

If you were complaining about the visibility... I bet it's more because of the crappy ebay projectors than because of the smoking them lol

Honestly, having previously owned those ebays, the light output was no worse than any other halogen lights I've had. With that said, I could see any level of tint acting as some serious light output stoppers.

Just wetsand the paint off...buff and voila your done...

Even if you do leave them like that, later down the road the paint will probably start to peel from the heat produced by your headlights...

your lights look sick. you should definately keep them what did you use to tint them and where did you get it. i want to do a projector retrofit in euro clean lenses on my 3rd gen and tint like yours. i wanna know what specific product you used because i want mines to come out just like that. those are just straight up sexy

So the projector halos on eBay aren't any good? What about the HID ones? I'm looking at getting some off of eBay, that's why i'm wondering. Should I?

That looks great, it matches your car. Did you do your tails too? I did my tail lights the first time and it come out like poop. I tried acetone but it left my light with a white haze that I can't remove so I got a new set and did that one. I blacked those out and um... they come out okay. Anyways, you can try acetone but just be really really careful with it.
