350 miles on Vogtland/GR-2 - Follow-up Review.
Ride is exceptional. Smooth. Responsive. No harsh bumps. Have not hit bumpstops yet. 
Springs have settled a little.
Went from
27" Front
26" Rear
To
26 7/8" Front
25 3/4" Rear
I am riding on Firestone Firehawk GT-Z 245-45-17 inflated to 42lbs with OEM SE rims. Max psi on these is 51lbs. Anything under 40lbs is too soft...
...extremely happy with the swap from Maxspeed/Tokico Blues (Had set-up for approx. 60k miles) to this set-up.

Installed Maxspeed/Tokico Blues around 80k
Intalled Vogtland/GR-2's around 147k
The ride is expcetional though. No harshness over bumps, no bouncing. Very smooth and comfortable ride. I love it.
GR-2's are NOT adjustable. You would need to get the KYB AGX's for that.

Bought car with 59k
Installed Maxspeed/Tokico Blues around 80k

GR-2's are NOT adjustable. You would need to get the KYB AGX's for that.

i want something that is stiff but not to harsh. I was gonna dump the cash in to some SS's but it seems like a waste to me.

Well, one thing I do want to get out is that I was swayed away from GR-2's back when I installed the Maxspeeds. I took the advice from several org members comments to go w/Tokico Blues...
...bad idea.
I wish I didn't sway so easily. I had GR-2's on my '96 G20 before the Maxima, and I loved them. I thought they were so much more respnosive than OEM and yet not harsh. I was never overly thrilled with the Tokico Blues. They never gave me a solid driving experience.
After installing this Vogtland/GR-2 set-up I can now say I am very pleased to have GR-2's once again.
I am not a big fan of the Tokico Blues, never have been, and will most likely never purchase them again for any current or future vehicle that I own. Nor will I ever promote them...
...I am sure the Maxspeed vs. Vogtland springs also had something to do with it, but I am still confident in saying I would have been much happier if I had purchased GR-2's with my Maxspeeds back then instead of Tokico Blues.

I think I am going to go with GR-2's with H&R springs. The slightly stiffer GR-2's may respond better with the slightly stiffer spring.

They "meet or exceed OEM specifications". Just because Tokico makes OEM struts for Nissan does not mean they are the same specifications as the "aftermarket" OEM replacement Tokico HP's (Blues). In fact they are not the same. The one's made for Nissan (black in color) are spec'd based on Nissan's recommendation.
Same with GR-2's. But I will definately say, these definately exceed OEM specs.
This is the same for OEM tires and aftermarket tires. In most to all cases they might have the same naming standard, but the specs could be competely different. This is very true when it comes to Contintental tires and Nissan's.
