2000 dash lights wont work
the dash lights in my 2000 wont come on when i turn my headlights on. the dash lights are on when my headlights are off though. not sure whats going but i think it might have something to do with the way my radio is wired because the guy that had the car before me raped my radio harness instead of just buying the aftermarket harness, were would i be able to get the stock radio harness and could this be my problem?

I'm assuming that the previous owner cut the connectors off of the wire harnesses. There were 2 connectors for the radio. If you want to replace the wire harness, I guess you only have 2 choices - a junk yard or the dealer.
One of the wires in the big connector (#7) is a red with a yellow stripe. This is from your dash lights to control the radio's front panel. Disconnect this wire and see if your dash lights work properly. To totally straighten this out, you will need to get the pinouts for the radio.

If the car did not have a Bose unit originally, the wire colors for the speakers are different, but pins 5,6,7,8,9 and 10 are the same in both versions
