Yes sir. I love 'em.
The car definitely feels a bit torquier after a few days' driving. They gave the stock exhaust note a more edgy/rough sort of tone...sort of sounds more like the FX does.
The only problem I have is that damn whistle/rattle sound under heavier acceleration that comes with the 1.5" header outlet flowing into the 2.5" testpipe.

As soon as I find my camera.
So here's an odd concept I've been juggling around in my head:
I was looking at an older BMW (80's style) the other day, and came up with an interesting idea for a rat rod. BMW pickup truck.
I noticed that the rear trunk lines and hood lines are nearly the same height when looking at the car from the side, which means that the truck "bed" wouldn't appear asymmetrical or out of place if the rear seats were to be chopped out, and the trunk/rear seats turned into a truck bed to haul things with.
Looking at it conceptually, it doesn't sound too bad. But then again, I've scrapped rat rod ideas like this before. If I could find an older BMW for a decent price, I'd love to pursue something like this, though. Sort of as a slap in the face to all the BMW purists out there who hate things like this.

It's nonsense like this that makes me question how we have anything in common at all.
Next you're going to tell me you don't like pizza.

Desktops, eh?
Here's mine. It looks odd at first, but understand I've got 3 monitors going on.
24" widescreen in the middle at 1920x1200
15" standard on the left at 1024x768
17" standard on the right at 1280x1024

That old BMW is gorgeous. One of the first time one of those silly Stance websites had a proper convergence of photography and subject matter.

In all honesty, I agree with you about the G37 Convertible. The lines get all messed up with the hardtop. It doesn't look right to me, top up nor down.
And the girl... ur 2 picky, hustler.

From a technology standpoint, they are nice. And the M5's V-10 is really fast. However I believe that all the bells and whistles they have take away from the driving experience.

Not really a street racing story, because no one exceeded the speed limit or did anything planned out or even remotely unsafe, however...
I'm on my way home, stopped at the off-ramp light on the inside lane, waiting to make a left-hand turn... which you have to hustle into to get past the next light before that turns red on you, so it only works if you're first at the light. Guy on the outside lane also swinging left is in a pretty little VW Golf. He was revving his little engine, waiting for the light. I was watching him with my windows open, kind of amused. Wasn't sure what he was doing.
Light turned green and I walked into the turn, straightened out and hustled for the next light... at which point I realized he had whipped around the outside of that turn and was hauling azz, easily pulling away. Not expecting that, I had already slipped into second without winding out first, so I just dumped the throttle and let the engine build. Within a couple seconds I was going WOT in second, caught him and pulled steadily ahead before we both went through the next (yellow) light and backed off within the speed limit.
As traffic came about and I made my right-hand turn off the main road, he hummed on by. Pretty little exhaust tips extending from the middle, 2-door hatch, with the R32 logo on the car.
Had to look up what "R32" is. Nice little pocket rocket.
