Oil leak?

Oil leak?

In this pic it's dripping down below



In this pic it seems like its leaking out from around here



What would oil to leak from around those areas?

are you sure its not overspill when you filled your oil last time? i dont always have a funnel, and sometimes i lose some on the VC..lol

nope its not over spill. The last oil change was in dec. and this started happening not long ago. I smelled it burning as it may have been dripping on something hot

pretty common for the valve cover if you havent replaced them

no they have never been replaced. So are you say i need to replace them ? or could be the valve cover gasket needs to be replaced?

its more than the gasket
its the sparkplug tubes thats leaking
get 04+ ones and youll be fine.
or just ignore it and keep an eye on the oil level.

na they are intergrated into the valve covers, so you replace the whole cover.

Can't. You need to get the whole new valve cover.

No more than 50 per side. Go to DaveB to get it.

Get new gaskets also, because they don't come with the valve cover.

I'd take the engine cover off first to get a closer inspection.
