Close race with an SS

Close race with an SS
I just raced a Chevy SS truck and won by about 2 cars. It was as equal of a start as you can get. We raced until about 100 and I had him by 2 car lengths (at least) by the end. We gave each other a thumbs up and headed our seperate ways. By the look of his face he seemed pretty surprised. i had one passenger, it was on 528 in Houston and Alvin (those who know it know it's safe) and I'm completly sober (I have to work at 6 tomorrow). It was one of my favorite races though b/c it was so close up until about 65. What do those trucks run the 1320 in? I should be mid 14s. I'm pretty sure those trucks have a big engine that runs slower in hot, humid weather. Under better conditions it would have been a very close race, but I still think I would've had him.
BTW I have a 2k2 Auto with just a VB mod and heavier 18" wheels
