I looked in the FSM and I didn't see anything other than the wiring diagram. Didn't see any troubleshooting procedures.

I couldn't find it in the ESM either, but here it is from the 2001. Should be the same crap.

You either have a brake light out or you just put LED tail lights in.

You just put LED tail lights in Right? You need to put loaders in or take the LEDs out.

Exactly what's the connection between cruise control and the tail lights?

what is odd is that it seems to work when the car is warm or sometimes if i turn the cruise light on before i start the car it will work fine. Its weird

Anti-Skid

Sorry not Anti-Skid I'm in airplane mode thinking lol, but your ABS System. I seem to recall when I had my suspension redone, they left one of the connections on my ABS loose and it caused the exact same problem. Good Luck.

i will check out the ABS connections but i also notice that if the car is warm and i go to run a few errands that the curise does work but its only when the car is warm. If i turn it on before i start the car when the car is cold then start the car the curise light will be on byitself for a few seconds then the SET light will blink

the cruise control's braking shutoff switch is triggered directly from the voltage of the taillight bulbs, not the brake pedal switch. cruise wont work with LEDs installed without load regulators, ive gone through the same thing

If you have the check engine light on it will do it as well sometimes, I just did a ecu reset and the problem ceased.

just confirmed that the cruise works when the car is at normal driving temp but only after the car is turned off and then back on. This is odd
