I thought about trying to look into creatring something myself, so I went to some Nissan parts sites to look into ordering a new seat mechanism to experiment with.

It's $1,100+ at retail for the power seat mechanism w/ rails.
Yeah, I am not doing that!

I may look into grabbing a power seat at a boneyard, otherwise I am just going to live with it.

Bringing this back from the dead

After reading up on spark's oversize plenum I would like to see a 1" thick phenolic spacer to put between the elbow and upper manifold. This would add volume to the plenum, maybe 10-15cc, and it would push the tb back a little to make more room for a longer intake pipe. Or make more room for a 1" spacer between the TB and the intake. Would also like to see a thicker spacer for between the upper and lower plenum, maybe 5/8 thick instead of the standard 5/16th size... I wonder how much the dyno would change.
Way back when, i35sleeper and I were thinking of doing this, making a spacer between the elbow and the upper, a spacer between the tb and the elbow, and a thicker spacer between the upper and lower manifolds. Then a while later Aaron came up with the phenolic kit. I love this kit and think it's the best mod for under 200 bucks for the maxima, but I would like to see a stage 2 kit with the above mentioned thicker parts..

A two-piece STS kit, with a replacement pivot-arm bracket in hardened steel and powdercoated... for the 5.5 gen and 6.0 gen 6MT.

I do like the idea of a roots-type supercharger kit, with an air-water cooler mounted underneath it, similar to what ZZ Performance sells for Pontiac GTP's. I would love a supercharger for my De-K, nestled nicely between the cylinder heads

I do miss my GTP alot...

Thank you everybody for your ideas. The best ideas are those that the majority of the Maxima community can afford. That is what I would like to concentrate on for future projects.

I have subscribed to this thread and will continue to pay close attention to it.

I haven't read through the thread so forgive me if its already been mentioned. But how about a STS for the 95-01 5MT guys. One that not only shortens the throw, but one that shortens the physical height of the shifter a decent amount also. A nice looking weighted **** with the NWP logo will also compliment that nicely. You can sell the ***** separately too.

I strongly believe that adding a supercharger would be the best horsepower to dollar ratio for the 5 and 5.5 gens. An Eaton can be picked up for a few hundred dollars used, and a rebuilt one for 700ish. Here's a pic of a twin-screw sitting on top of an Audi 2.8 12 valve V-6 by Motodyne.

*EDIT* Another benefit would be that people who already own expensive Cattman headers and exhaust wouldn't have to remove them as you would if you went turbocharged. Also, the superchargers are self-oiled so there's no fabricating oil feed and return lines.

I would REALLY love to have a NWP plug and play shift kit for the Autos , SS clutch line for the manuals, and a bolt-on tapered bored TB for a "Venturi effect" for the VQ30DE/-K and VQ35DE.

Stillen makes them for the Z, i'm sure it could work with the maxima with some creative routing of certain things.

And you'd need a new hood

Good idea. I'll pop it into the original post.

I'd give consideration to having an NWP branded shift-****, because I'm proud to have NWP products on the car. If it's nicer than OEM, then absolutely.

Solid Aluminum Motor and Transmission Mounts. There is alot of benefits from them. Lighweight, simple design, would last forever with a protective zinc coating, and
a big increase in chassic rigidity.

I think the very best thing that nwp could bring to the table, some kind of adapter kit to let the 5.5 gens. Run the stillen 4th gen super charger kit or some type of roots charger..... I know they can make that happen

Bump for Aaron. Here is a link to the 00-VI Vias system. I would like to see a fix for this problem instead of using JB Weld. Also, there's a picture a couple of posts up of the power rod and cup removed for more of a reference.

But a supercharger kit for the 5.5 would be awesome

Thanks everyone for all the great ideas. A lot of those are definitely feasible.

The product we most recently have designed is an EGR Block Plate for the 6th gen Maxima UIM.
