02 parts on 01 Max

Ok so my buddy has a wrecked 02 Maxima and said whatever parts I could get off of it and would fit on my 01 Max, I could have. The interior of the 02 is leather and both front seats are power and heated.
My interior is cloth and only my driver side seat is power, neither are heated. I don't really care for the heated part but do you think the harness for power seats is somewhere in the car just with a manual seat or is that a big No?

Also the wheels on it are the 7 spokes

Will they fit on my 01?

Then the taillights are this type:

What would I need to make them fit?

All those parts should be interchangeable without any modifications. The 00-03 tails are the same size, just different designs. The rims have a slightly different offset on the 02 than on the 01, but they will fit.

As for the power seats, I'm not totally sure. The plugs shouldn't be different from the 01 to the 02, but I could be wrong. When the blower motor for my heater went bad in my '02, I replaced it with a motor from an '01. The only difference between the two units was that the plug was in a slightly different location. Not far enough off to affect re-installation, though.

Oh, also, I don't know if the seat mounts are the same in '01 and '02. I don't see any reason why Nissan would change it, though.

Taillights-yes, get his harness from it too

Wheels-yes

There are no plugs IIRC to just plug in the power seats, you can grab them though and just take them apart and fit them onto your seat frame pieces, Write-up is around here on the org

Other things I would grap

Headlights, Sideskirts, engine, tranny, and his brakes

I think you need a harness for the tails to work but they will fit fine

Awesome! Thanks

The harness on the tails just unplugs or will I have to do some soldering?

I believe your car should have the wiring harness for the heated seats preinstalled. You simply have to trace it through the panels. If you are getting the heated seats, make sure you grab the harness from the wrecked car as well so you could retrofit everything correctly. Just because your Maxima has pre-existing harness, doesn't mean the plugs are identical between the 01 and 02. The easiest way to check whether your vehicle has the heater harness is by checking the fuse box.

The wheels and taillights are dirct bolt-on, but I believe the ones already on your car is more desirable. I may be wrong though.

My tails are the red ones and I would prefer the clear ones and my wheels are base models so I definitely prefer the 7 spokes. Will just inspect to see if I have the harness for the power seats already there. As said above I don't really care for the heated part.

lol mostly everything should fit. I may be interested in the leather seats if you are willing to sell them depending on the condition and color.

How do I tell if the seats have the side air bags? My current seats don't have them.

I don't believe the cloth seats have side airbags. It usually says srs airbaigs on the side where the seat belt is at or at the head rest

P.S I may be interested in the fog lights if the price is right lol

Dunno if this can be done as there are some different points in the positioning and the 5 gen has an overdrive button on the shifter etc.... . I will trade you my SE rims for those GLE rims as I think those were the best looking Max rims besides the sport rims on the 09's......hehe!

My AE has cloth and side airbags.

OP: definitely grab the headlights and put 'em in your car. Big upgrade over the 00-01 headlights

The car is wrecked so the headlights may be toast, but if not then grab them for sure

^ absolutely correct. Only one headlight survived.

Monte show me a pic of your SE wheels and we may be able to work something out.
