Loud Squealing, but only in Reverse!?
For whatever reason, my car has a SEVERE squeal only when backing up. It happens at any speed when in reverse. It just started without warning yesterday and I hadn't driven any differently or hit anything before hand, so I don't know what could have happened. I do not think the squeal is brake related because I had all the rotors and pads were replaced 6 months ago.

(Of further interest, I am selling the car, and will create a post elsewhere for this purpose - asking $7,600.)

new brakes doesnt mean they wont squeal
pull up the handbrake see if it goes away
