Has anyone noticed the badgeless grill? (real good shot at 15 sec)

They didnt get permission to use the nissan name so they had to take it off. I E-mailed them to ask what junk yard it went to, so I could get the grill. They E-Mailed me back, they didnt know but there prity sure the car was crushed. Sad day for the 5spd SE base model with the best 5th gen grill ever.

You can get that grill on E-bay (for the 02-03's anyway), it may not be exact but it's close. I just searched for "maxima jdm grill" Here's the link, hope it works...

LOL I guess alstate has something against nissan if they like to wreck them so much... such a waste, why wouldnt they just crash a civic or something worth killing?

We have a show called Canada's worst driver... In the first episode of this season they let these morons drive a RR through an obstacle course of steel rims... it started in mint condition and was a heap of scrab after those people were through with it... I had a tear in my eye for sure watching that

What a waste of a good car. I would have traded them my auto for their 5 speed and they can crush my car. That way everyone wins! =]

Could also be painted tape. (Black and silver placed appropriately to give the appearance of having no emblem.)

Sometimes for these uses, the car will be FUBAR before they ever buy it with intent to crash it. (i.e. theft recovery / flood damaged and declared a total loss by insurance). They just clean it up a little. Or it's already wrecked on the side you can't see. I suspect either of those reasons is the case (which is why you see two different Maximas with different wheels in the commercial...it's because one doesn't run.)

Saves them a lot of money and the car might be headed to a scrapyard anyway. They rarely use a perfect car.
