12v Pwr Line from Eng. Bay to Cockpit????

Does anyone have a "secret-squirrel" route from the engine bay thru the firewall to the inner cockpit, to snake a 12v pwr lead to & from???

I poked-around for over an hour yesterday, and couldn't find a good route or existing pass-thru to use.
Trying to send ONE 14ga wire thru from the cockpit for my aux. foglight switch, and finding no good route!

I don't really want to DRILL thru the firewall -- I'm looking for an EASY existing pathway without having to yank-out ALL of the carpet and lining of the floorboards.

if anyone knows of one / where it is -- please let me know!!

drivers side wheel well. peel away the plastic covering and you will see a rubber grommet. You will also have to peel back the carpet on the inside of the engine bay.

Best way to find it is follow the cable release for the hood.

THks KNight...

I saw that yesterday, but couldn't see where it came out in the engine bay.
Is it safe to assume best way to access that "carpet" in the engine bay is from UNDER the car??
Power steering module is OVER that spot in the bay....

thks.

For 14 ga wire there is a small rubber plug on the driver's side firewall. Its a hole about 3/8 inch big. Look to the left of the driver's side shock tower on the firewall. That's where I routed the wires for my drop resistor.

OMG I'm an idiot, you have to peel the carpet back in the cockpit, not the engine bay. Then you'll see the hood release grommet on the firewall.

No worries - I figured it out!

Got it installed, and complete.
Fogs now on FULL-TIME, but switched.
I REALLY like having my fogs on with my brights....GREAT for country roads and illuminating those pesky friggin' deer that are EVERYWHERE!!!
