02 vs 00 armrest

Is there a difference in the armrest on a 00 vs 02? I broke the hidden riser on my armrest and need to find a new one.

My mom's 2000 SE was the same as my 2002 SE. I think the GXE ones are different, though.

well, I've got a 2000 SE and 2002SE in my driveway, just jumped back and forth between the two and I'd say, form, fit and function identical.

color, you're on your own.

I have a 2000 GXE and it does not have the riser. It is two tiered where the top pops open by pulling up on it for storage such as coins and pens, and there is a latch underneath the front edge to swing open the entire lid for the storage access underneath.

yeah, he makes plenty of sense.

Both styles of armrest are interchangeable. My GXE doesn't have the riser-style one, and the GLE does.

Odd, I'm pretty sure we have the GXE, and we have the riser. You press the button and it rises higher...yeah. We have that. Did the GXE come with both types?

Not any help to the subject here...but I can't stand the rising feature on my armrest. Always popping up at the most worst time. Downshifting to 2nd, around a corner. Clumsy elbows of mine.
