2.5" or 3" Electric Cutout?
I was looking to get an electric cutout, but I don't know what would be better, a 2.5" or a 3". The thing is, I have OBX headers, which I would think is 2.5" OD, correct? If so, would it be beneficial to run a 3" cutout back to a 2.5" Magnaflow HFC that I have? Or would it be better to just get a 2.5" and call it a day? Any significant power advantages of a 3" cutout over a 2.5"? Thanks.

If the exhaust is 2.5 inch go with the same size cutout...No power difference if you went with a 3 inch. The only thing you wouldn't want to do is go with a smaller cutout, because it would bottleneck it. I have a stock exhaust, so I went with a 2 1/4 cutout.
