Darkening/tinting/blackening emblems/badges

I tried searching and couldn't fine anything.

Is there a way to darken or tint the emblem(s) (either front and/or rear) and make them look like the badges on the SE? I want the chrome look to be more subtle and dark.

Since they are already chrome, you could put a light coat of black on them with spray paint. Or graphite, or whatever color you want. It would just have to be a light color. Try a hobby store for a small can.
