Where does this hose connect to?

Hey Guys,

When i swapped my OEM to an CAI i noticed a hoes that was just dangling which if followed seems to connect to the transmission. The car runs fine, but each time i pop the hood it stares at me. I was wondering if anyone could help me find out were this hoes connects too? The hoes doesn't have any suction either. I'd really appreciate if anyone could look under their hood and trace the line i have pictured below.

If you can follow it down to the tranny case then it's the tranny vent hose. Just secure the open end of it high up in the engine compartment.

Useless?? Just what the hell do you want to do with a tranny vent? It's vented to ambient on purpose.......in case you haven't figured it out.
