Be careful who you buy from, been screwed over several times within the past 6 months, everybody on eBay thinks D2C is D2R. Most sellers will send you D2C if you ask for D2R. I gave up and went with DDMTuning.com, was well worth it.

well 100% of the HID bulbs or kit sellers that i've seen on ebay tells you to include in your notes what type bulbs/Kit you want to avoid confusion because they have almost every bulb in stock, so i would hope you would contact the seller to verify your bulb type

Even sending them a picture of what i want, they say they have whats pictured and still send the wrong bulbs. These came from the following sellers---> Supervtec, jgllc, and zgperformance. I advise not to buy from them.

I've ordered several kits and bulbs from a seller on ebay, xenonwholesale88. I've never had a problem with them and they ship out their items very quickly. They also have every kind of bulb in stock so you have to specify before you buy. I've made several purchases using them and have nothing but good things to say, so if you wanna give them a try go for it, here's a link. They're about $25.99 free shipping.

get the phillips which are oem, you won't be disapointed. A lot of the colored ones like 6k 8k etc will last about 6-10 months and start to go pink.

Old post, but just to verify - D2R would be what I'm looking for, correct?

I'm looking here. Thinking I want the 8000K bulbs because I like the almost-blue look of newer HIDs rather than just bright white.

Yeah, it seems like you get a slightly different color depending on where you get your bulbs.... I got 8000K's from ddmtuning.com and they are just very slightly blue... some 8000K's seem really blue...
and while on this note, I highly recommend ddmtuning for HIDs. You can get replacement D2Rs for $15 and they're great!

Crap. Now I'm debating between the 8k and 10k... although I know the 10k won't be as bright. Hmmm.

Yeah, I like a little blue, but not tooooo much. 8000K was the perfect choice for me... and it lights up the road really nice. My sig pic doesn't really show the blue in them very well... but they definitely do have a blue-ish tone to them.

Finally ordered my HIDs. Decided to go with the 10k because I want the dramatic blue. Almost went 12k, but decided I have enough police attention with my lead foot. Don't need more attention from strange purple headlights...

Im not sure if they can be OEM if they are 6000k, but good to know I wonder what the quality was like.

I've used DDM for all my HID needs...Motorcycles and cars...well priced and reputable...even had a problem once and they fixed it ASAP! If something does go wrong, how much of a pain will it be to get new ones from an ebay seller???

Good luck with the cheap bulbs man They tend to suck sure there are people who have them last long but its just not worth it to me I go with Philips.

DDM uses the same ****ty Chinese bulbs you can get on ebay for $13/pair. Get some proper 85126 D2R bulbs for $50/pair for the best light.
