Back in the Maxima game!

Well its been a while but I just got another Maxima...for the wifey anyway. Its an 02 GLE with 111k and got it for $2500. Had a prior salvage for an accident. Had the left rear quarter panel and rear bumper replaced. Belonged to 2 older ladies and they gave me a folder with service history. It even came with a new headlight because they said one of em was getting cloudy and yellow. Its actually not that bad yet so im not going to swap it out yet. Seems like they took good care of it. Its not perfect but all around great car. Wifey is just lovin it so far!

A few little issues...need to replace front windshield, sunroof shade is stuck and wont slide back, cupholder lid is loose and sometimes doesn't stay closed, need to replace a tweeter in the A-pillar and the trunk release on the door doesn't work.

yup...they had the oil and filter changed on the 22nd and the car had a cooling system and front suspension overhaul last year. 4 wheel alignment, new matching tires, new wiper blades...the car is good to go. I wish I could've had it for myself honestly but I have my e39 bmw and my lsx-powered chevy c10 so Im still good.

These cars don't have anything to do in the rear!

Probably should check engine oil levels from time to time

Yeah I'll do that. I always check my oil regularly in my vehicles anyway.

Congrats! Looks like a nice Maxi, especially at that price and miles.

I see you're in South Dakota, hows the rust issues up there for you guys? Is the car local or what? Looks like it's been garage kept...

@D.stillwell...The car is from Minnesota which is notorious for cars with horrible rust...my old A32 maxima came from there too and it was plagued with rust. In South Dakota though they dont use salt on the roads so rust is not an issue here. The car was garage kept and has surprisingly little rust on it. Those ladies who owned it took good care of the thing.
