Wiper Problems

tried searching, but no luck. So on my I35, when i use the windshield washer or intermittent mode, the wipers will swing up and stop at the top, blocking your vision. This doesn't happen when the speed is set to normal or fast. In order for the wipers to go back down, i have to pull the wiper arm again and spray more fluid, or if i'm using intermittent mode, wait another 5 seconds and it'll go back down.

Somebody told me this was a switch issue. Any ideas how to remedy this issue?

Had the same issue with my '99 Trans Am. Turned out it was a faulty relay.

so this is perhaps another dumb question but how on earth do you remove the relays. i tried stuffing a flathead screwdriver where theres those tabs but i pull and pull and nothing budges, and im afraid to pull harder since thats how i broke my glovebox =D

any hints? thanks!
