Replaced both O2 Sensors, and codes are back, Please advice.

Last week I got the ck engine light on, checked the codes, and the codes were the malfunction of the (2) O2 sensors (In front of the Cat), the car runs Normal. I did replace the O2 sensors today with Bosch Sensors, cleared the codes, I started the car, and the ck engine light came on after 25 Second, checked the codes, and guess what? same codes. Please advice , thanks.

i have seen this before, the one i had at work came from an o2 sensor grounding out on the exhaust (a hole rubbed through it), so check the other o2 sensors, cause it wasnt the ones that were pulling the codes that caused the problem, then check the fuses under the dash, one popped and pulled the codes.

Just found a blown-up 15A fuse (Engine Control), Replaced it and as soon as I turn the key on it blows-up, I need to check the O2 sensor (Simulated)after the cat. Thanks for your help nsmo240 .

for sure, if you cant see any sign of it grounding externally to something, try unplugging it and turning the key on, maybe its possibly internally shorted.

When installing 02 sensors, make sure you use the copper grease that came with it. It's imperative for a proper ground.

So you're saying that our 02 sensors are grounded by copper antiseize and not the ground wire running from the o2 sensor to chassis ground?

I'm saying it's a bit of both. I installed a sensor and forgot the antiseize, still had the code. Reinstalled it with the antiseize, code went away.
