ok so basically when i make a right turn you can hear a clicking noise in my driver side wheel area. i took the tire off thinking it was a retainer clip for the brake pad that popped out i fixed that it wasn't the problem. i checked the inside of the rim for some kind of wear do to rubbing...nothin seems be worn or showning signs of rubbing so ANYONE GOT ANY IDEAS ON WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM??????? only happens when i make right turns

old and rusty im thinking that because i do my own oil changes that i never grease any of the places that the oil change palces do when they do there check. i dont know where the lub points are to grease or if that could be the problem

Lube joints tend to not grease anything, regardless if it needs it or not.

There's not a zerk fitting on the A33, there's nothing to grease.

CV joints? check rubber boot on the axle. make sure it's not torn.

I second that bad cv joints will click around corners.

Its not the CV because I have the same problem and the noise was there before and after I replaced a torn boot and I still have yet to figure out what it is.

You are aware that replacing a boot does nothing to repair a damaged CV joint, correct?

oops..but also theres a ring thats sets inside the mount that allows it to spin also back and forth..

Its the strunt mount bro i had both of mine replaced....and make them grease them after there replaced

Yes i'm quite aware, but having a damaged boot could harm the CV joint, correct?

While replacing the boot, I made sure everything else was in shape, therefore i came to the conclusion that it wasnt anything in that area, but thanks for asking

ok so look at the boot of the cv joint see if torn (replace) or strut mount both sound expensive which one is easier to do

The first is obviously the cheapest. Taking a look doesn't cost a thing...

Neither of them are either hard or expensive. The axle would be more expensive than the strut mount, but the strut mount (IMO) would be a 'harder' job.

Are you determined to not do any of your own research?

Price out axles wherever you're going to buy them from.

Then call shops (assuming you're not doing this yourself, which is what it sounds like) asking them how much an axle replacement would be.

Prices change by area, for both parts and labor. We have no way of knowing what your shop will charge for hourly, how many hours they'll charge, what they'll put on there for shop supplies, diagnostics, etc.

Call around, find out for yourself. Those are the only true prices you'll get off of here.

I think i have the same clicking noise but not on turns. If i turn left/right there isn't any clicking, but, if i drop the clutch in first at 2 grand, and floor the car, it sometimes makes this clicking noise that's really deep. anybody know what it might be?
