well it was kind of a full swap. lol i blew the tranny too so i needed a new one but i still got a 5speed tranny.

I guess it is the same as a 4gen. I didnt do the swap. I paid chillin to do the swap for me. he is a member of the org also. you can ask him. lol

I dont think he was talking about full in terms of motor and tranny. I believe he meant full as far as ECU and vq35 timing equipment.

It's not a full swap. I see a throttle cable by the way.

high 13s with the way it is right now is not likely. Not even real 5.5gens stock are doing high 13s

you can run a car on the street that runs those times at the track. But that doesnt mean you run that time at the track too.

Track conditions are way different. I'm not saying you cant though. I would say you'll run a mid 14 second ET with the factory exhaust manifolds.

what about your swap makes you faster than a stock 5.5? Just b/c you raced 2 high 13sec cars on the street doesnt mean your car will do the 1/4 in high 13s. Your gearing is also different than 5.5 gens. Keep that in mind.

are there no precats in the 3.0 manifolds like there are in the 3.5? or are they identical.. maybe this could be some of the difference.. just a thought..also the difference in feel could have to do with the 1 less gear affecting FD ratio blah blah..

the only precats on the 3.0 is the two cats in the Y-pipe. one in the front and one in the back. but it doesnt have the big *** one that the 5.5 gens come with.
