power steering pressure hose leak

So does anyone have a write-up on a power steering pressure hose replacement.? Mine decided to start leaking and so im now looking a replacement hose and also a write-up for it. Please let me know, Thanx.

It's a straight forward install. Disconnect if from pump 1st, then from rack. Access from underneath will make this much easier. Don't forget to top off and bleed power steering after installing new hose.

Dave B. is the man to call for a replacement. I don't recommend getting used. They are not cheap new.

Ok thanx. I will give DaveB a call and hear the price of that hose. But say from a fairly new car, you still wouldnt recommend using the hose from it.?

if its a regular hose u can just go to autozone and have them cutt you a piece for like 98 cents

Are you serious^^?....and how will i get it back into that brass looking piece behind the left strut mount safely without having a leak.?

yea you CANT do that. just call up Dave B and replace it like most of us did. its a pretty easy install. just follow the hose

yea u cant get it at autozone or advanced auto either its a special hose not your typical air breather hose crap... its a minor problem though i think your lucky its not anything serious.
