Hello all,

I threw my first CEL recently and I took it to the nissan dealer, they pulled the code for free for me and told me it was an o2 sensor code.

The car has 117K, is this a common code?

Also, would it be the cat/pre cat, or the sensor itself?

Hey Ryan could be more specific about the code. If its p430 then it's really PITA to fix it. I got that code last year and it turns out to be leak at the intake. Hope this helps. Have Fun !!!

It's best that you get the exact code.

It could be just a bad o2 sensor or a bad precat. All depends on the code. What did the dealer suggest needs to be done?

A Nissan dealer pulled the code for free? Did they tell you the actual code itself or give you a printout? If not, go to Autozone and get that code.
