Anyone had their MAF replaced under emission warranty?

I was wondering if anyone has ever gotten their MAF replaced and ECU reprogrammed under the emissions warranty. My car has some hesitation between 2-3K and I know there is a bulletin out for that exact problem and the resolution is the replace the MAF and update the ECU. IIRC the emissions warranty is 100K on these cars. Just curious, I'd like to pursue it if I can. My car is a 2002 6 speed with 66K

Oh, I'm referring to bulletin NTB03-022

The emissions warranty should be 8/80,000 so it is worth a shot.

My son's Corolla threw a 2157 code on his way down here. Turned out his ECU went bad and it was covered under the emissions warranty even though he was out of the factory warranty.

Only problem is I'm not throwing any codes and it's a performance related TSB. Reading the warranty book it looks like the MAF is covered under the standard warranty and the ECU is covered under the 8/80. I'll at least push for the ECU to be flashed since that's the only part I can't do. I have NIB 2K1 MAF sitting in my garage anyway.

WOW..... I just got off the phone with the new Nissan dealership by my house. I'm stopping in tonight so they can check the ECU to check the part number on it but it sounds like it's all going to be covered under warranty. I read the owners manual and the general (non-Cali) emissions listed on the ECU as being covered up to 80K and the MAF as being a 3-36 part. Plus I was worried since I'm not throwing any codes they may not doing anything since they are only obligated (from my reading) to be withing the emission standard. I'm impressed. Not that anyone cares really but I'll update how this turns out. Tonight they are just checking the ECU part number and if it needs flashed and the MAF replaced we're going to set up an appointment to do so.

Well stopped by last night. They checked the ECM, I have the one that requires the flash but not a new MAF (damn) but they are going to do the ECM update under the emissions warranty so that's good. I was hoping to get a fresh MAF out of it too but no luck...

In Canada the emissions w. was extended to 120K km. Got the pre-cat replaced under warranty, but not the MAF. I could have lived with the rattle from the Cat, but the MAF crippled the car into limp mode. Cost $1K up here and they wouldn't agree to reprog it if I did the work myself (insert explitives here...) .
