Hasn't ANYONE put 5.5gen 4AT in a 5th gen? Are gauge clusters the same from '00-'03?

Hasn't ANYONE put 5.5gen 4AT in a 5th gen? Are gauge clusters the same from '00-'03?
I'd HAVE to assume that SOMEONE out there has had to put an '02-'03 4at in their '00-'01...
I've found a couple transmissions for my ailing GXE:
One is an '00 unit that is $350 and requires a 580 mile round trip to pick it up.
One is an '02 unit that is probably also $350, and requires a 600 mile round trip to pick it up.
... And lastly, there's an '01 Infiniti i30t 4at with LSD for $500... I'd have to pull some strings to get it shipped to me in NY from Arizona.
...
I'm in touch with the guy about the '00 unit, and am also in contact with the guy about the '02 4at.
The '00 unit.... it'll of course slide in real easy. I'm not sure about the mileage though.
The '02 at has only 40-something k. Possible problems (I need some feedback, guys:
- '02 has different speed sensors.
BUT!!! CAN SOMEONE ANSWER ME THIS?: Is the instrument cluster the same from '00-03? ...This would indicate to me that although the speed sensors are different, they output their signal in the same fashion, and should wire up easy.

'02:
How could this be problematic with regards to wiring/installing? ...and furthermore, aren't there more than one of these to install?
- The '02 has a different transmission mount part number.

'02:
... but I've been told that mounts even in 4th gen cars are compatible with 5th and 5.5 gen cars... with regards to manual trannies though.. maybe with the autos it's different?
- As far as non-differences, driveshafts, control solenoids and rebuild kits are the same between '00 and '02.
.... So, is it looking like swapping to a 5.5 gen 4at might be un-doable or troublesome? Does anyone know of such a swap having been done successfully?
Hopefully I'll have this figured out by the weekend, as I think I'll make the drive to retrieve whatever tranny I choose on Sunday, Dec 21.

Two threads now?

FWIW you've got a picture of a VSS and the revolution sensor, which are different. The speedo gear on the diff has the same PN for the RE4F04A/V and the RE4F04B, which means the same VSS will work on both. The RE4F04B uses the revolution sensor instead of an actual VSS, so it has a blockoff plate where the VSS should be.
FAST is showing the same part number for the trans mount for the 5th and 5.5 gen auto trans. The second mount you have shown looks the exact same as the 4th gen auto trans mount as well.
The first mount you have shown, if you look at rockauto's compatibility listing shows as 95-04 automatics (i.e. all RE4F04?s). It looks to be the same exact type of mount, just a different style.
