Would i rub?

I just picked up some g35c 18's with 225/45/18 all around. Do you any of you know if i would rub with H-techs? also what drop do you recommend with those wheels. I'm planning on using stock struts for a while and I've heard that progress is the lowest i can go on stocks. Thanks in advance

Your sidewall on the tires are too big. Go with a different size. ie... 235/35/18 and you'll be good.

because you have 35 profile tires

you don't rub because your offset is probably not like g35 rims.

It depends on the offset.

35 is a little too low profile. 45 is a bit big, but it gives better cushioning.

I'm running 245/45/18 , it raised my car quite a bit comparing to the stock wheels which are smaller in overall diameter ( im on progress springs and tokico blues ) I will go with 245/40/18 next time I buy tires. You learn something new everyday Either that or go with even shorter springs.

I don't think you will rub because you have 225 versus my 245, which does affect things alot, the tire will be further from the fender, and it will be a lil more than half an inch smaller in diameter.

If you do rub, the first spot will probably be passenger rear because of the shifted beam. ( once you lower the car ).

It's all in the offset! too bad I don't know mine
