Infiniti I30/I35 Sideskirts

soo.... after all these years we've got pics on how the infiniti sideskirts fit on a 5th gen maxima. looks like it's gonna take a little work to get it to fit just right. as of now i still havent decided if i want to spend the money and effort to fit these. but we now have definitive proof that the i30/i35 skirts will not fit perfectly without some modifications. kind of a shame cuz they look pretty good.

test fit:

They were not exactly the best designed sideskirts to begin with. If you can get some good double sided tape to pull in those gaps and paint it, it would not look that bad.

I've got factory 5th gen maxima side skirts on my i30. Had to do some trimming to make it fit. They look better than the i30 skirts IMO.

as another member said. nothing that some double sided tape shouldnt be able to fix.

I like the idea but i would prefer to have the colors match rather than contrast.

Looks good! I think you should even leave them black - maybe even get a black Anniversary Edition front and rear lips. That would look really nice with the color of your car.

in 2nd pic you have ACTUAL sidemarkers in your fenders, in addition to the front bumper "way tooo front to be real sidemarkers" are the fender markers wired? are they some universals? are they another nissan/infiniti marker?

@dennismik - they're factory painted to match the i30 black. i'll paint them sterling mist if i decide to mod them to fit.

@grand_hustle17 - i put them back in the box. i'll see if i have time this week to get some side shots.

@craig_se - word. my hawk pads dust like crazy.

@a33_ridah - they're universal side markers. they're wired to flash with the corners lamps. i can't find the exact ones, but they're similar to these: http://cgi.ebay.com/360256531517
