From Greddy EVO catback to HKS rear section.

I'm on Greddy Evo catback and thinking about changing to HKS rear exhaust setup. My question is I know the HKS rear exhaust is not too loud, I'm getting tired of Greddy Evo being too loud. If I keep my B-Pipe and just replace the rear section to HKS would it still be loud?? or do I have to get the stock B-Pipe? Does anyone else done this before?? I had HKS rear section before and I changed to Greddy but now I wanna go back to HKS.

I will have my HKS for sale if you are in the tri-state area, and it'll work great on any Max with a rear lip since I had the tips extended.

I think the HKS is louder than the EVO. The EVO is more high pitched while the HKS has a low rumble to it, as far as I know.

The reason I post this thread is that I had HKS before Greddy so which means since HKS is only rear section exhaust it was quiet with low tone. When I bought Greddy Evo I replaced my B-Pipe since the Greddy Evo was a full catback and I don't have the stock B-Pipe. I'm wondering if I'm gonna get the quiet low tone sound with the B-Pipe that came with Greddy Evo Catback setup??

It's not Evo 2 it sounded pretty good in the beginning and now all of sudden it sounds louder than b4.

I have an I35 so the tips were extended 3 inches further to clear my bumper. Like I said if you have a rear lip on your Max it'll be work great too. Looking for $250 picked up in NJ.

IIRC, Greddy's b-pipe isn't interchangeable. Also, HKS is louder than Cattman with all stock piping.

That's interesting...I always thought Cattman was louder...HKS is even more expensive too...But I heard the cattman rear section may be on backorder?

Look under your car and see if the Greddy and HKS split @ the the OEM location or the the same location and bolt it up and do a test fit! That's what's so Cool about the Cattman, I can switch between the Cattman rear section and the the OEM.....with only a minor modification to the Oem rear muffler flange.....

You would probably save a good deal of money, and get better sound if you went with one of magnaflow's bigger mufflers (with the right offset and inlet/outlet size for your setup) and had it welded in place of your current muffler.

Most of those exhaust manufacturers use someone else's muffler and just fab the piping, then charge a big premium.
