A33 power folding mirrors.

Has anyone in here installed A33 power folding side mirrors? I purchased a set of these mirrors including the dash control switch and was wondering if anyone in here ever installed these and if they could share some tips.

I was on vacation in the caribbean. The majority of their cars were imported from japan. The were by no means cheap, I paid $500.00 USD for the mirrors and switch for the dash not including the fact that I brought them back in my hand luggage to avoid damage. That was especially fun, try explaining to customs and TSA Security why you have side mirrors in your suitcase. Looking back now not sure I would buy them again.

I have the aftermarket mirrors with LED turns and puddle lamps, but they came with what appears to be the same switch.

Now, IIRC, when I compared the mirror switch I had in the dash (from the factory) with the new switch (as well as the included diagram and harness) I saw that basically I was missing a couple wires, and I had to run those from the mirrors to the switch. Wire colors were all the same, but only a couple wires were missing. Perhaps compare to see what you have with what you've got and see what's missing. I can try to dig up my wiring diagram if you think it might help, though it was for the aftermarket mirrors.

Those are cool. I knew those existed for the JDM Z32's but I had no idea they did for Maxima's too. Interesting...
