Inner Tie Rod Spun? Problem?

While loosening up the outer tie rod lock nut, the inner tie rod spun, maybe 3/4 of turn. So in essence, it was broke loose. I put the outer tie rod end, but am now wondering if I need to tighten the inner tie rod? I thought it had some type of locking mechanism on it so I did not worry about it, but I have not pulled the boot off and now I am wondering. Any thoughts? Thanks guys

Well if it spun 3/4 of a turn i would spin it back, other than that the car will be misaligned if you dont

^fail. if it was loose, misalignment would be the least of his concerns.

Thanks for the responses. The inner tie rod is solid it just got loosened in fighting the lock nut on the outer tie rod end. It is back together and does not move a bit. I figured if it is locked at the outer tie rod end with the lock nut, it could not move. But since I have never messed with suspension work, I wanted to be sure.
