2k Automatic silver trim (PRND) piece

Im wondering how to get the silver trim piece that houses the gear numbers and letters that goes around the shifter (PRND) , OFF. Can anybody point me in the right direction as to how to..? im used to taking off the basic stuff to do audio and what not...but looking at the PRND silver trim piece and down into the console, i can't tell how to take it off...

take out screw in ashtray, remove trim cover around shifter, once off, pop off the chrome trim , there tabs on the side, once you take the cover off around the shifter its pretty much self explanatory
