Trunk Supports

Does anyone else have a lot of rattle from the trunk support bars when you drive?
I keep the back seat down to allow the bass to sound better and I hear all the rattle from the crossbars that keep the trunk open.
Has anyone else had this????
Any Cure??????

in my 2k max i used to have it.. drove me insane.. i crawled in the trunk and had my buddy keep opening and closing it so i could pinpoint it eaisly.. turned out to be the 2 bars that criss cross..i used duct tape and held them together and just taped the crap out of them and it shut them up for good.. give it a shot...dont have that prob on my 2k2 though.. weird

I went to home depot and picked up some cheep grey foam pipe insulator which I used to wrap and zip tie them. A lot noise was eliminated. The trick is finding the right size pipe insulator.

i fixed it pretty easy. my dad had like 3 millimeter styrofoam laying around, so i wrappeed them with it, ziptied it. looked pretty ****ty, so then i went to ace and got some of that black pipe foam that has a cut down one side and put it over the other foam. all fixed!
