Update: We have been working on pricing for the different intake options we will be making, including venturis and filter options, so don't spend your money on new filter/venturi's yet!

bump for OP.

Saving some money right now for your product. Other than that I am going to install my ES control arm bushings, Ball joints, Camber bolts, alignment, and Rear trailing arm bushings. Then from there I am going to buy a Braille battery, Braille battery bracket, and a Braille battery remote.

Anyone willing to dyno test the BPI Flow Stack (before and after installation) and provide the results for us to publish, we will provide them with a complimentary flow stack or refund the purchase price for the flow stack. Would love to get some test data on the maxima. We had a Canadian tuner perform some testing on a 3.5 VQ Zcar.

I will be dynoing with a BBMAF and the 3.5" bpi velocity stack. Should be within the month. (if all goes well). Guess I can take the stack off for a few runs then put it back on.

Who local is interested in testing the short ram intake out? BPi wants to see some dyno results and we want them as well for our development. Would be good if you have an OEM intake setup or some other aftermarket setup to compare this to. Preference on the OEM intake setup.

Will provide a discount for the parts and split the cost of the dyno testing with you. (Must be willing to drive to New England Dyno in Douglas, MA for testing)

Cheers,
Brian

Zack
Please make a base line pull or two on day of testing to minimize the number of variables. People get REAL picky when it comes to dyno chart comparisons. Rightly so though, with all the variables that can influence the results. Make a pull or two with stock then swap your intake and test. Or Make couple pulls with your intake, then swap OEM on for a pull or two, then reinstall intake. Being an intake, installation and removal is quick. So you should be able to pull this off in an 1 hour session.

Thank you guys.

We have received the BPi velocity stack. It is indeed a quality molded piece. Haven't yet had time to complete the prototype setup. We have had a couple AutoX events and are finishing up production runs for a couple Focus parts. Everything is in CAD and ready to be prototyped as soon as the CNC Mill is available! Hope to have the prototype(s) done soon and dyno tested.

Cheers,
Brian

If you're going to do this right, it be nice to get dyno from a comparable (Internet dyno, read: Dynojet) as well as related data say using a data logging software, Cipher or AutoEnginuity or something similar. This will tell us, the potential customer, what is really going on, (airflow, AFR, etc)

Yes we are focusing on improving the scientific nature of our development and improving the end product. It will be tested on a Dynojet. My partner Jason holds a degree in Product Design Engineering and I am finishing up my Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry. These certainly are not going to be faulty products, but rather the best for the job.

I'm definitely in. I've been looking around for a good intake and it seems like the only decent ones available are the injen's, which make you re-use your stock MAF tube with an adapter. This is a great idea and i'm looking forward to it. Will it be set up for the 5th gen or the 5.5 gen?

I would be interested to see the dyno's for the intake with the stock throttle body compared to a 3" throttle body...

We are finishing up specs for the 4th-gen MAF Adapter and will be putting a group buy together. This is next up at bat and will have a prototype dyno tested before it comes up for sale.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Can you tell us what is the problem you are trying to solve?

Does this thing (your MAF adapter) provide better performance, or easier maintenance, or both (that would be great), or is it just a solution looking for a problem?
