is the SECU on the 20th AE different than the other models?

installing a starter on my 01 maxima the starter part is fine, but the keyless entry is where i'm really confused, i downloaded severl wiring diagrams and and the one at the A/V section, all the wiring diagrms are the same. but it doesn't match wiht my SECU 's harnesses.like in the diagram says that Power Lock is a brown and yellow on pin #35 but the pin number 35 is empty and but there is a brown and yellow wire at pin number 14. so the correct color wires are there but not in the place where it says should be on the wiring diagram. so is there any way to check the wire using a multi meter

i need to find the wires for

Power Lock
Power Unlock
Trunk Relese
Factory arm
Factory Disarm
Dome light supervision

all these at the SECU

Did you get the bypass module?

You can test for 12v with a probe. It will look like a sharp needle at the end with a little bulb and alligator clip. You pierce the wire insulation and if the light goes on, you have 12v.

Last Time I went probing around with a volt meter. I had to have it towed to the dealership. blew 12 fuses and did not think to check. just be careful.
