'00 fed spec O2 sensor help! **pics**
Searched a bit, but couldn't find any specifics.
Got a P0153 (sensor 1 bank 2) and P0133 (sensor 1 bank 1).
For the fed spec's there are only 3 sensors and these are the 2 before the cat.
The first one I can't get room for my ratchet to turn in there.
Here's what I'm using.
I got my sensors from oxygensensors.com and theyre the Walker brand ones.
They called for the same sensor for both.
This is so frustrating. Plus I'm exhausted right now.

No, I'm replacing both up streams. I've replaced the downstream (after cat) one before, but the up stream ones have never been replaced since I've owned the car.
EDIT: it turns out both sensors DO have 3 wires. I just couldn't see the black wire on the one from where I was looking. I got that one out and I'm going to splice the wires. The first one is still stuck.

As nlmaxima said, either a 22mm or 7/8" wrench should help you in there. If you're going to rewire anyway, you could cut the harness connector off and use the box end of the wrench. That way you won't be as likely to round off the flats on the sensor.

Well 2 hours later, and nothing. The one further downstream that I got out, didn't have much slack in the wire, so i wouldn't have room to strip and splice since it's kinda up there. I tried to disconnect the whole sensor, but they've got those little snap in zip tie connectors that are impossible to get off. I gave up and put it back in.
I'll buy a 22mm open end wrench and try the front sensor next time.
The neg battery terminal was disconnected the whole time, so maybe the SES light won't come back on and i won't have to change them! :fingerscrossed:

the wires are tied down up under the car and I couldn't get to the connector in the engine bay. Argh! I was going to cut the wires, but then I figured i wouldn't be able to strip and splice the wires since they were recessed up there. Not much room to get the stripper and crimper up there.

On how much and where did you get it... I just got a P0141 - Rear O2 Sensor Heater (Bank 1) code on a fed. spec, trying to figure out what Im going do to replace it or at least solve the code. Which 02 does this correspond to?
