How much does your max weigh?
I wanted to compare the weight of 5th gen maximas in here. Sorry 3rd gen guys, I copied your idea ...I was looking at my registration last night and it said the weight of my car was 3150lbs which seems awfully light for a 5th gen. I know in general they arent that heavy but only 3100lbs?
The stock exhaust components are heavy as hell and I upgraded to hotshot headers and a cattman exhaust which are really light in comparison so Im wondering how much weight I shedded off with that. Would that count as weight reduction?
Plus...I have cloth (heated cloth seats) and I believe those weigh less than leather...is that right?
Im hoping this is the right section btw...if not, mods please move it. Everyone's registration should have vehicle weight...but I dont know if it varies by states

From my experience in owning half a dozen different vehicles, the weight listed on the registration is rarely accurate. Do you have any scrap yards or transfer stations in your area, those places have vehicle scales and I am sure you could get your car on one there without much hassle. There is also always the track, if you can wait for one to open up!

This site: http://www.thecarconnection.com/Vehi...180.A4347.html says 3224 for the 6 speed, 3218 for the automatic.
http://www.canadiandriver.com/articles/jk/02maxima.htm 3221 for a 6 speed
http://www.motortrend.com/cars/2002/...pecifications/ 1486 kg, which works out to about 3269.
Of course, it depends too on how the car is equipped and what you carry around in your car as well.
