How happy are you with your fogs & which do you have?
For the third time, my fogs have burned out and I need to replace them. I want to see pics, prices & brands before I buy this time and I'm asking you guys to post up some of your info. If this thread becomes successful, it may become sticky-worthy, so post them up.
Piaa Xtreme white on the passenger side/Polarg Pure Yellow on the drivers side
Polarg yellow on the left, yellow caps on the right
I bought the Polarg Pure Yellow from here: http://www.xtremewhite.com/ORD-Light...66-1-1-1-1.cfm
They were MUCH more yellow than the PIAA Ion Crystal Fog light bulbs.
The PIAA EXTREME white actually match the HIDs VERY well and they actually lasted a LONG TIME (even used them with my capsules when I switched to capsule fogs after the Polarg Pure Yellows)
My PIAA super plasmas are still going strong after ~2 years even though both of my foglight lenses are cracked (one of which gets flooded with water occasionally).

I have hoen xenonmatch bulbs and the other day one burned out. They must burn freaken hot because both of lense where fine until I installed these. Now they are both cracked. I think that they were around $40. I have had them 9 mos. and requested a replacement because they do have a 1 year warranty. haven't heard back from them. I only have 1 crappy pic but I might post it anyway later on when I have more time.
The only thing I did was make sure that the wire harness was nice and high on the inside of the fender. The kit has been replaced once under warranty because I left the relay and 3 fuses low in the fender and didn't secure them up high. Water got in the wiring and shorted it out....had to get new wiring kit, although ballasts and bulbs were perfectly fine. I have been very happy with the kit, I would recommend getting the 4300k kit though. I can't have these on in town because I get flashed too much :-D but not the good kind of flashing.
I bought a set of the PIAA Plasma Ion Yellow foglights about 2 months ago and I couldn't be more satisfied with them. They are extremely bright and work wonders when in any kind of fog or rain. Definately worth the money.
Obviously if you are trying to match the headlights, I wouldn't recommend them but are great if you are looking for functionality in poor weather.

I had PIAA Super Plasmas. The lasted about 10 months and both burned out within a week of each other. Now I have Luminics JDM Yellow. They're over a year old and no problems with them. No pics, though...
JDM Yellow. they are okay, but i think my next ones will match the headlights. The contrast doesn't really do it for me anymore for some reason. I think a match would look better.
I had PIAA Ion Crystal for about 3 years or so before I got my HIDs. Never had a problem with them. I sold them to some guy on here last year. Don't remember who, but they could very well still be working.
I have the Luminics Bulbs. Best bulb for the money. I went through a couple hundered dollars in PIAA crap. I should have just bought HID's instead!
PIAA GTX plasma H3s (from the description it is supposed to match a 6000k look) dont know much of difference with these and supers maybe just label??
next to my stock 4300k they look pretty good with a 6000k hint of blue/purp when lookin at the housing, but not the beam which appears closer to the heads. They still have that hint halogen witch can never truly match the HID unless they are HID.
post pics when I ....get a chance, (the upcoming fall season is sure to bring in yummy pics)
I'm using the Sylvania Silverstars and I'm satisfied with them. At 20.00 a piece, they're definitely a good buy for what you get. They're rated at 4000k. I've only had them for about a month and a half so we'll see how they last. Not many people seem to go with Sylvania.

I had PIAA Ion Crystal Yellows for a year and they were still good when I replaced them with RedlineMax's yellows, can't remember what they were called, not that you can get them anymore anyway. I've had the set for more than a year and half now and they are still fine.

Are you satisfied with the match with stock HIDs? In the pics it looks like it does, but how are they in person?
i love my lexus capsules though I need to fix the right side (too much white light leaking out)

i have some crappy internet fogs that where supposed to be "white" but are yellow as day.. i dont even turn them on anymore now that i have my HID headlights cause the color contrast just doesnt look right.. i'm thinking about getting some HID fogs
TO THOSE WITH HID FOGS: if you aim your fog lights down, do they still create a glare to other drivers and give you good light output at the same time?
I'm using the Sylvania Silverstars as well. Been quite satisfied with them so far. Have had them for almost a year, no problems yet. I find bulb life varies greatly from person to person though. My fogs come on with my headlights, and only when its dark enough out. I don't drive frequently at night, so they don't come on very much. Compare this to those who have the fogs wired so they're on all the time.
Put in PIAA SuperPlasmas when I bought the car a few years ago...they looked great but burnt out and cracked my lenses within a few weeks...I am now back to stock...they don't look great but better than nothing and they seem to be withstanding the cracked lenses.
I'm unsure about whether to go HID or yellow...but I can't find the yellow capsules anyway....

I can't compare these to any other bulbs because I've only had the Silverstars, but compared to stock they're great. The match to the HID's is.... acceptable I would say given that they are halogen bulbs. And the price of the bulbs are good too.
