p 1320 knock sensor

hello all pulled a 1320 code yesterday, after research found out it was a bad knock sensor code. where is the knock sensor located and how much is a new one. is it possible that a bad batch of gas could of triggered the knock sensor code? after checking around i have found out that a knock sensor code rarely appears by it self but normally along with something else. in my case it appeared by itself. if the knock sensor is bad and i do not replace it is there any damage to the engine that could occur or loss of power that could occur. the symptoms that occured i started it up when it was cold and it idled real rough, engine was shaking, then the check engine light came on and it smoothed itself out. only does that when it is cold. thought it was a vacuum leak but this is the code i pulled

, how much research did you really do? lol . . i know spoonfeeding FTL but im in a good mood . . . lol....and where is this research that a 1320 is directly a knock sensor? u have a bad coil is my educated guess... the vq30de is natorious for the dreaded 1320,.... do some research on that .. theres a huge thread on it...,. p1320 is ignition - misfire ect and with a good reader you might be able to pinpoint a bad coil or more then 1,.. do your self a favor and buy all 6 from dave b (number in stickys) and buy 6 new plugs while your at it,... cuz thats your problem. . . .

Don't come here with a problem that you "researched" when in fact you did NO research. you're going by what a stupid mechanic said that clearly has no idea what he's talking about.
