So I had it checked out today as part of an oil change... And originally the mechanic thought that the boot was broken however, when he lifted the car he said the boot was fine and he wasn't sure what would cause it without further taking everything apart...

Does anyone know what this could be? The clicking increases as I increase the speed. It's like something is rubbing against a spoke or something and the faster the tires rotate the "quicker" the noise apears. Any ideas?

yea the ticking is definitely coming from the wheel. I mean Im as sure as I can be because I can only hear it when I am driving and roll the front passneger window down...
I have an auto.

did you check to see if you have a rock or nail in the tire? I'd check that first if i were you

Oh good thinking, something simple.

Would a wheel bearing do that? I know they usually sound like a moan or rub, but.....?

Clicking would lead me to believe that it was a CV joint also. Maybe the joint went bad even though it is still sealed?!

Have any brake stuff done on your car recently? I know might sound weird, but I had a clickin/metal on metal noise coming from a wheel once. Turned out a bolt on the break caliper was coming loose. Unfortunately I didnt put things together until that bolt actually came off. so I might suggest checking all those bolts (3 or 4 around the joint) and make sure they're tight.

Jack it up and spin the wheel around. Look and listen you should be able to see it or hear it. Rock in tire tread is a good idea and cheep starting place.
Next make sure you do not have a "stick" up in your suspension somewhere.

i only say that cause i had a similar issue and i thought it was a wheel bearing and such, wasn't until the tire finally went flat outta the blue one day did i realize...

Could be the shim kit/hardware kit on your brake pads too! Maybe that pointy piece is not in its place! Just an idea

guys which boldts do I need to check. I had the brakes done a while ago but I still have more than half left... But now that I think about it I think the noise apeared right after I had the brakes replaced... last spring. But I forgot about it since during the winter the windows are closed and you can't hear it. Can you guys show me where the bolts are? Do I have to remove the wheel? I am using Hawk HPS pads.

Check caliper bolts, 2 on the back of the caliper!

well I just jacked up the car and tried to spin the wheel but I wasn't getting any noise. I think it is because I could not rotate it fast enough because when I am driving it is best heard when I am going 30MPH and starts to increase in speed until I am going to fast to hear it over the wind noise. I also took all the pebbles out... Going back to check the bolts on the caliper now... but do I have to take the wheel off in order to get to them?

You may not if you can jack it up high enough. For me to see things I'd need to take the wheel off. Tighten all the bolts etc on the back of the caliper just to be safe, feel around and look around to make sure you get them all. Some times its not even the ones that connect to the caliper that make the noise. For me the noise occured at any bump in the road, or a rough road. Not really crusing at a normal speed.
