Eibach hubcentric Spacer fitment issue (15mmF/25mmR, pic included)

I recently got my hubcentric spacers from Eibach. Eibach didn't make anything above 10mm for Maxima, but the 350Z spacer will fit Maxima because they share same center bore. I did test fit the 15mm spacer, it fits fine perfectly on just tire or just hub. when I start tightening the bolts and installed tires, I found out that my wheel and the hub has tiny gap in between. I noticed the stock wheel studs are a bit long which hamper the wheel to completly attached to the spacer. I test drove for 2 min under speed 60, seems fine, but my conern is,

1. In the long run, will my tire become loose and fly off?
2. Should I change the stock wheel studs so the wheel can fully attache to the spacer.

Below pics are in sequence, first pic showing is the stock hub...etc

I definitely would not drive with them like that. Those are extreme stress points and will cause damage. That's a retarded design, and I would send them back because the bolts don't even sit flush with the spacer. Are those the bolts that they supplied? That's obsurd IMO and I would demand a refund. Get H&R spacers. If not, the only option I can see here is to grind down the nut and the stud to make it flush, which would then compromise strength...

I've always wondered about those type of spacers and how they are installed. How are they suppose to be installed when the OEM studs stick out so far?

H&R spacers are fantastic and come with the right size studs. You should buy them, don't mess with Eibach. www.optauto.com is the cheapest source I could find. I've had 15mm on my rear for 1.5 years, no problems whatsoever.

EDIT: looking at your photos, you've got adapter-type spacers. Just buy regular spacers. You will hammer out your stock studs and put in the new studs. Much better setup than the style you have....

Good write up here: http://home.insightbb.com/~davidwhon...cer/spacer.htm

The thing is, it's not even JUST the stud that sticks out too far. The bolt actually does it as well! If they supplied those bolts, there's no way I would take no for an answer when asking for a refund...

Thanks for the info VQuick and LA02MAX. Guess I have no choice to send it back to the dealer. Thought I would give Eibach a chance coz no one on org ever tried the Eibach hubcentric spacer. The spacer quality is great, just the fitment.....So now Orgers should know that the hubcentric spacer will not
fit our Max.

Eibach also has the regular type of spacer, which they provide longer wheel studs, I probably will try exchange for that type and see how it goes before I give up on them.

Yeah, try that. I know a few Orgers have used Eibach spacers.
